Permissions the app may request

Permissions are requested when a feature needs them, and the app is intended to work with optional permissions declined.

  • Location — Smart Walk journey planning and safety map
  • Notifications — journey status, community and message alerts
  • Camera (optional) — profile photo and QR scanning
  • Microphone (optional) — voice messages in Community
  • Contacts (optional) — adding trusted contacts

Prototype limitations

  • Emergency-related functions are still being tested and must not be relied upon.
  • Some screens are demonstrations of intended behaviour rather than finished features.
  • Community features are limited during early testing.
  • Eco AI answers are informational and may be incomplete or inaccurate.
  • Data handling, accounts and backend infrastructure are still under development.
  • The interface and content are currently prepared mainly in English.
